Revolutionary Artificial Sky Lamp Unveiled at London Exhibition

The Italian company CeoLux has unveiled a new artificial sky lamp that is so realistic it is almost impossible to distinguish from the real thing. The lamp, called the Skybox, was showcased at the ExCeL Messe in London and has already been named the “Light Source of the Year.” The Skybox is a lamp that simulates a sunny day with a blue sky, and it is so convincing that visitors to the exhibition were left in awe. The developers of the Skybox have compressed the first 10 kilometers of the Earth’s atmosphere into a few millimeters and added titanium dioxide nanoparticles to create the perfect light scattering effect that mimics the blue sky on a warm summer day.

The Skybox is not yet perfect, however, as it currently has a depth of one meter, which is too much for the developers. They are also working on making the simulated sun move in real-time or at a desired time, as well as simulating the appropriate morning or evening light. The current problem is the high energy consumption of the lamp, which uses 340 watts of power. The developers are working on optimizing the LED lights to reduce energy consumption in the future. The Skybox has numerous potential applications, including museums, fitness studios, workplaces, homes, hospitals, and wellness centers. The lamp could also be used in the construction of an “Earthscraper,” a skyscraper built underground. Despite its high cost of around €60,000, the Skybox has already attracted interest from potential buyers.
