Swiss company Airyacht has unveiled a new luxury transportation concept that combines a yacht and an airship. The Airyacht is a 52-meter-long yacht that can be fixed to a rigid airship using ropes, with the ship serving as the cabin of a conventional zeppelin. The airship is filled with helium and has a fixed structure, making it the largest rigid airship in the world at 200 meters long. The first models of the Airyacht will have a hybrid engine, with plans to eventually equip it with a fuel cell. The airship is expected to reach a maximum height of 3,000 meters and a speed of up to 50 knots (93 km/h).

The Airyacht offers a luxurious living space of 750 square meters and a deck of 350 square meters, with amenities such as a pool and a helicopter landing pad. It can accommodate up to 12 guests and 15 crew members, with 12 in hospitality and three in charge of the airship’s controls. The yacht has no propulsion system and is towed on water by the airship. The airship can also be used to park the yacht on solid ground, with support legs extending from the hull. The first Airyacht models are expected to be delivered by the end of 2026, with no public price announced.

The Airyacht is a unique and innovative concept that combines the luxury of a yacht with the freedom of an airship. Its hybrid engine and fuel cell plans make it an environmentally friendly option for luxury travel. The airship’s ability to park the yacht on solid ground also adds to its versatility as a holiday home. The Airyacht is set to revolutionize luxury transportation and provide a new level of comfort and convenience for travelers.
